Police from the 114th Precinct in Astoria are on the lookout for four teenagers who beat up a 15-year-old boy near the Woodside Houses on Monday, Nov. 28.
The “gang assault” occurred at around 4:15 p.m. in front of a deli located at 48-02 Broadway when the victim was approached by the four men who began to beat him; one of the assailants hit him with a cane while another struck him repeatedly with a stick, police said.
The four teens jumped into a white Mazda SUV and drove off southbound on 48th Street toward Northern Boulevard. The victim was transported to NYC Health+Hospitals/Harlem in stable condition, police said.
The NYPD released surveillance images of the suspects on Tuesday.
The teen with the cane wore a black hoodie, a black face covering, a red jacket with white sleeves with the number 85 on the arm, black jeans and white sneakers.
The suspect with the stick wore a black face covering, a dark jacket with a red horizontal stripe, black jeans and bright yellow sneakers. The third suspect wore a black jacket with a fur-lined hood, black jeans and a black head covering.
The fourth suspect wore a black jacket with a brown fur-lined hood, black jeans, dark sneakers and a blue face mask.
