Newly-elected District 37 Assemblyman Juan Ardila is holding mobile office hours across Sunnyside, Ridgewood, Long Island City, Maspeth and Woodside to meet with residents, solicit feedback and listen to concerns from the community.

Ardila, who won last year’s election for the District 37 seat, is asking for complete transparency among residents.

“I ran on accessibility and transparency, and that is why on my first-week break from this year’s legislative session, I wanted to set up shop at different parts of the district to meet with my constituents,” Ardila said. “I want residents of District 37 to know that I am easy to reach and here to listen to their concerns.”

Residents can meet with Ardila on Feb. 24, from 12:30 to 2 p.m. at the Ridgewood Public Library (20-12 Madison St.) and on Feb. 25, from 11 a.m to 1 p.m., at the Sunnyside Greenmarket, which is located at the intersection of 43rd Street and 43rd Avenue in Sunnyside.

Ardila also said his office will be announcing additional mobile office hours and meet-and-greet sessions in other areas of the district. A schedule will soon be announced for the weeks and months ahead.

“I want people to know this will not be a one-time thing. We want to be in the community as much as possible and accessible to everyone,” Ardila added.

Ardila also encourages people unable to attend this week’s mobile office hours to make an appointment to meet at his district office at 45-10 Skillman Ave. by calling 718-784-3194 or sending an e-mail to ardilaj@nyassembly.gov.
