An F train rider was attacked inside the 169th Street subway station in Jamaica Hills last month and police are still searching for the attacker.
Police from the 107th Precinct in Fresh Meadows and Transit District 20 are looking for a man who approached the 42-year-old victim on the morning of Saturday, Feb. 4, as he walked through the mezzanine level of the station and began to argue with him.
The confrontation escalated to violence when the suspect allegedly began to punch and kick the victim multiple times in his body, police said. The assailant ran out of the station and was last seen walking southbound on 168th Street toward downtown Jamaica.
The NYPD released a surveillance photo of the bearded suspect on March 14 and described him as having a light to medium complexion. He is approximately 6 feet tall and was last seen wearing a gray winter jacket over a black hoodie, black pants, dark sneakers and black gloves.
A reward of up to $3,500 is being offered for information that leads to the perpetrator’s arrest.
