Police from the 103rd Precinct and 20th Transit District are searching for the crook who assaulted a 19-year-old man on an E train at the Jamaica Center–Parsons/Archer subway station last month.
Authorities say that the unknown man approached the teen on the E train inside the station at approximately 5 p.m. on May 26 and punched him in the face several times before running out of the train and exiting the station.
EMS arrived at the scene and treated the victim for his injuries.
Police on May 31 released surveillance video of the suspect.
He is believed to be between 25 and 30 years old and has a “medium” complexion, police said. He was wearing a white shirt and a white and black checkered vest.
