The Shops at Skyview in Flushing is expanding its community favorite K-Fun Day to a whole month of celebrations highlighting Korean culture and a special visit from K-Pop idol Moon Jongup.
K-pop, K-art, K-culture and K-food will all be represented throughout the festivities at the center located at 40-24 College Point Blvd.
The K-Fun Day event was created at the Shops at Skyview in June 2022 due to Korean popular culture being a phenomenon all over the world. The free event included an immersive photo booth, traditional Korean wardrobe experience, K-beauty demo, K-pop dance performance workshop and Korean product demonstration.
“K-Fun day was one of The Shops at Skyview’s most popular events last year. Given the success, we wanted to expand our celebration to a full month to bring the community even more fun, immersive cultural experiences all summer long,” said Wesley Sin, regional marketing manager of Shopcore Properties, owners and managers of the Shops at Skyview. “This year, we’ll welcome K-pop idol Moon Jongup in addition to several new events.”
