Panera Bread, the bakery-cafe and fast-casual restaurant, best known for its soups, salads and sandwiches, celebrated the grand opening of its new location in Ridgewood, on Monday, June 12.
As part of the grand opening celebration, the first 250 customers who made a purchase at the new 50-05 Metropolitan Ave. location, were eligible to receive a certificate for one year of free bagels. Customers will receive one bagel pack per month, which includes 13 bagels and two tubs of cream cheese.
The latest Panera Bread location is also nearby Ellen’s Wines & Spirits, on Metropolitan Avenue Flushing Avenue.
“We are thrilled to open our newest Panera Bread bakery-cafe in Ridgewood,” said Tim Doherty, president and chief operating officer of Doherty Enterprises Inc., a franchisee of Panera Bread. “Ridgewood area residents can now readily embrace the fresh-baked wholesome selections and down-home warmth Panera is known for.”
According to the restaurant chain, 2,121 Panera Bread bakery cafes are open and operating in 49 states, as of April 25, 2023. Customers can also make use of the Panera App for fast order pick-up services.
