Police investigating Glendale shooting that injured 29-year-old man last weekend

Police from the 104th Precinct are investigating after a 29-year-old man was shot  in front of a residential home in Glendale last weekend.

Officers responded to a 911 call regarding a shooting in front of a residential home in the vicinity of Cypress Avenue and 78th Avenue at approximately 3:40 p.m., on Sunday, Sept. 3, and found the victim with a gunshot wound to the right leg. A witness to the shooting told police the victim was standing in front of 58-58 78th Ave., when someone in a silver car opened fire. The vehicle fled in an unknown location and has yet to be identified.

EMS arrived and transported the victim to Wyckoff Heights Medical Center in stable condition, police said.
