Howard Beach is in for a treat, with a new all-you-can-eat Korean BBQ and hotpot joint set to open its doors in the neighborhood.

Residents will soon be able to enjoy sizzling steak and mouth-watering sides at KPot, located at 161-53 Crossbay Blvd. The Howard Beach location will be the first KPot to open in Queens. The restaurant chain has more than 50 locations nationwide.

It is unclear when the restaurant will actually open, although residents are waiting in anticipation.

Members of a Howard Beach Facebook group posted comments when they heard the news that the Korean restaurant was opening. “Yay, finally!” wrote one user, while other commenters echoed their joy with heart emojis.

Once the restaurant opens, residents will be able to try an array of Asian-style soups and sides. The restaurant offers more than seven hot pot bases to choose from including Szechuan spice, Korean seafood tofu, tomato soup and much more. After selecting the base, customers can pick whichever protein they want, ranging from thinly sliced beef, to shrimp to meat balls.

For meat lovers, KPot offers a wide range of marinated meats to grill on their tableside barbecue stations. Vegetarians won’t be left out-as KPot has over 20 vegetable selections that can be added to a hot pot and paired with rice or noodles.

KPot gives diners a unique all-you-can eat experience, delving into beloved Korean flavors.
