A Queensboro Hill woman was pulled from the waters of the East River off College Point on Thursday afternoon.

Police from the 109th Precinct in Flushing responded to a 911 call for a person in the water alongside Hermon A. McNeil Park near the Bay Park Estates just before 3 p.m. in the vicinity of 115th Street and Poppenhusen Avenue.

The 60-year-old victim was found unconscious and unresponsive, police said. EMS responded to the location and pronounced her dead at the scene.

She was later identified as Qiang Wu of Booth Memorial Avenue a block south of Kissena Corridor Park, according to the NYPD. The Office of the Chief Medical Examiner will determine the cause of death, and the investigation remains ongoing.
