One man was shot dead and a second was injured after a group of masked men forced themselves into a home in Jamaica Friday night, police and reports said.
Police found 21-year-old Taquane Clark with a gunshot wound to the head and another victim with a gunshot wound to the torso and right leg inside Clark’s home on 144th Street about 5:50 p.m., cops said.
Clark was pronounced dead at the scene and the other victim, a 27-year-old man, was taken to Jamaica Hospital in stable condition.
Police are looking for three men who forced their way into Clark’s apartment while wearing black masks, according to the New York Daily News. Surveillance footage is also being examined.
There have been no arrests and the investigation is still ongoing.
