Suspect involved in car crash turned robbery in Queens Village remains at large: cops

Police continue to search for a man who was involved in a car crash that turned into a robbery in Queens Village.

According to police, on Aug. 23 a man was involved in a vehicle collision at the corner of 209th Street and Hillside Avenue.

Following the collision, authorities said, two men in the other car approached the victim’s car, punched him in the face and took an undetermined amount of cash from the victim’s car before fleeing the scene.

One of the suspects, who has been identified as 21-year-old Ernest Ductan, was arrested on Sept. 6 and charged with robbery. The other suspect remains at large.
