Police have released two images of a suspect wanted in connection to a homicide that occurred over the weekend during a baby shower in Jamaica.

The victim was identified on Sunday as Tymel West, 22, of South Jamaica, according to police.

Members of the 103rd Precinct responded to a 911 call of shots fired at 10:50 p.m. on Nov. 3 at a location on Guy R. Brewer Boulevard between 107th and 108th Avenues.

Upon arriving at the location, they learned West had sustained multiple gunshot wounds to his torso. By the time officers arrived, authorities said, West had been taken by private means to Jamaica Hospital, where he was later pronounced dead.
