According to authorities, at 2:10 p.m. on Jan. 17, a 43-year-old woman was walking at the corner of Highland Avenue and Home Lawn Street in Jamaica Hills when she was approached from behind by two unknown men. The men proceeded to grab the victim’s purse from her hand and then took off eastbound on Highland Avenue.

Five days later, at 5:50 p.m. on Jan. 22, a 45-year-old woman was walking on 175th Street near Jamaica Avenue in Jamaica when the duo approached. Cops said the thieves grabbed her purse from her hand and fled the scene northbound on 175th Street.

The third incident took place at 6:40 p.m. on Jan. 29, when a 60-year-old woman was walking down 172nd Street between Hillside and 89th avenues.
