A winning lottery ticket worth over $31,000 was sold at a Richmond Hill deli over the weekend, the New York Lottery announced on Sunday.

The top prize Take-5 ticket was sold at Five Stars Deli and Grocery, located at 104-13 Jamaica Ave., and selected for the Saturday, Aug. 29 drawing.

Splitting the prize with another winner who purchased the ticket in Walden, New York, the Queens winning ticket is worth $31,576.50, according to the New York Lottery.

The winners of the Take-5 tickets have up to one year to claim their prize. Take-5 numbers are drawn every night at 11:21 p.m., from a field of one through 39.

Last year, the New York Lottery contributed $3.47 billion to school funding throughout the state, a number that accounts for about 13 percent of the total state education aid to local school districts.
