Katie McGrory hit a basket with 30 seconds left to lift B&M Auto over Nadler Trucking, 15-14. Nadler led 8-7 at halftime and it was back and forth the whole second half until the final basket. Lindsay Locosa, Jenna Palazzo and Marisa Masi also scored for B&M.
Varsi Deli prevailed in a tough match-up against Harpell Chemist, 31-28. After falling behind 14-8 in the first half, Varsi Deli turned things around behind Jessica Piccolino’s 25 points. Brittany Naposki led Harpell Chemist with nine points. Rosa’s Pizza bested Jam Services, 36-24, as Michele Morvack and Madaline Morvack each scored 12 points.
Boys Basketball
In one of the most exciting match-ups so far this year, Champion Construction outlasted Clinton Restaurant, 26-25. Champion Construction was down by one point with 25 seconds to go when Matthew Ehrlich dropped in the game-winning lay-up.
