3. Holy Cross (8-1, 0-0 CHSAA AA East) Idle. Last played December 23, falling to St. Anthony of Jersey City, 74-61, in the final of the Above the Rim Holiday Classic in San Diego, CA.
4. St. Francis Prep (10-2, 1-1, CHSAA AA East) Lost to Rice, 69-52. Mike Cavataio had 18 points and 11 rebounds and John Matzelle 10.
5. Campus Magnet (8-2, Queens AA) Beat Flushing, 72-45. Malachi Peay led the Bulldogs with a game-high 31 points and 10 rebounds.
6. Archbishop Molloy (5-5, 1-0 CHSAA AA East) Beat Bishop Loughlin, 67-61, in overtime. Rocco Rubino and Fred Dorgler had 17 points apiece.
7. Bayside (7-2, Queens AA) Beat Beach Channel, 63-39. Darryl Brown had 17 points and eight rebounds and Ryan Smith chipped in with 13 points and four assists.
8. St. John's Prep (2-4, 1-3 CHSAA A South) Beat McClancy, 63-56. Red Storm gets first league win.
9. John Adams (9-0 Queens A West) Beat Francis Lewis, 40-35. Robert Gutierrez had 14 points and Terrell Simmons and Darrell Lynch added 10 apiece.
10. Newtown (8-1, Queens A East) Beat Hillcrest, 67-56. Vere Deloach scored 18 points and Dimitri Antonopoulos added 17 to go along with 19 rebounds.
