“Harlem Speakeasy: An Evening of Jazz and Poetry” will take place at the York College Performing Arts center from 4 p.m. to 6 p.m. on Friday December 7 and 8 p.m. to 10 p.m. on Saturday, December 8.
The event will include the poetry of Langston Hughes and jazz performed by a trio from the York College jazz workshop. The concert will star recent York College graduate Robert Hogan. He will be joined by Earline Stephen, Lyra Toussant, Carmen Colon, Gabrielle Calixte, Hakim Fridie, Arlen Hopeton, Jennifer Ceede, Stephani Ogeleza and Leeann Johnson.
