Flushing man busted on drug, gun charges

FLUSHING — A Flushing man is behind bars after police from the 107th Precinct found firearms and drugs in his home March 6, a criminal complaint said.

Demetris Lambrou, 52, of 144−28 26th Ave., had no permits or licenses for the 14 guns, according to the criminal complaint.

Police discovered six bags of marijuana and a bag containing 21 lysergic acid tablets, as well as mechanical and electronic scales, the complaint said.

Lambrou is currently being held on $250,000 bail at the Vernon C. Bain Center in the Bronx.

He is being charged with criminal possession of a weapon; criminal sale of a firearm; criminal possession of a controlled substance; according to the criminal complaint.
