Bizaare Ave. Café, an eclectic American bistro in Astoria open for breakfast, lunch, brunch, sushi and tapas, hosted its grand opening recently.
Located at 35-01 36th Street, Bizaare Ave. Café hopes to bring a unique flair to the area, says owner Aaron Pine.
With half of the spacious interior adorned with plush lounge furniture and the other with more traditional dining tables, patrons can recline with friends over a cup of coffee (and free Wi-Fi) or stay for a longer meal of tapas and sushi.
Making this café unique is the fact that literally everything is for sale. Guests can purchase love seats, chairs, lamps, artwork, and even the flatware they use.
Bizaare’s menu offerings are extensive and elegant, and the café houses a full bar, with a comprehensive wine list and wide variety of draft and bottled beer.
Bizaare Ave. Café is open Monday through Thursday from 11 a.m. to 1 a.m., and from 11 a.m. to 4 a.m. Friday and Saturday. Additionally, a special all-you-can-eat weekend brunch is available from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. for $14.
