Neighborhood needs a supermarket

Do you know what is going on with the old Rite Aid store on the corner of Metropolitan Avenue & Tonsor Street in Ridgewood? The available sign that the real estate had up is gone, but nothing has been done with the site yet. The parking lot has overgrown weeds; there is graffiti on the building and by the doorway, facing Tonsor Street garbage is accumulating there.

I really would like to see a supermarket or a junior high school open there.
