Planning a Relay for Life fundraiser

Eat a cookie, help save a life?
On Tuesday, April 6, at 83rd Street and 151st Avenue in Lindenwood, the Hope for Healing team hosted a lemonade/cake sale for Relay for Life, an overnight track event that “gives everyone in communities across the globe a chance to celebrate the lives of people who have battled cancer, remember loved ones lost, and fight back against the disease.”
Danielle Kreitsch, who lost her mother in July 2007, and her friend Victoria Taravella said that they “had a nice crowd, nice donations.”
The Relay for Life In Howard Beach will be on June 26 and 27 at Charles Park.
