The NYPD is asking for your help in locating the suspect wanted in connection with an armed robbery/shooting that occurred on Wednesday, June 30.

Police say that at the corner of 95th Avenue and 120th Street, the victim, a 17-year-old male, was sitting in a parked car when he was approached by the suspect, identified as Jose Cabral, who was armed with a gun. Cabral announced a robbery and the victim fled on foot. The suspect fired at him, striking him once in the buttocks.

The unidentified victim was taken to Jamaica Hospital in stable condition.

Cabral is 26 years old, 5’10" tall, 190 pounds. Anyone with information on his whereabouts is asked to call Crime Stoppers at 800-577-TIPS.

Man wanted for commercial robbery

Police are looking for a man they say held up a Jamaica Avenue store on Friday, July 9.

The suspect, a male black, 35 to 40, entered the location, at 104-21 Jamaica Avenue, walked around the store and left. When he returned, he walked behind the counter, produced a gun, demanded money, and fled on foot with an unknown amount of cash. There were no injuries reported.

The suspect is described as 170 pounds, 6’0", wearing a blue Yankees baseball cap, white T-shirt with writing on the front and the word "Loyalty" on the back, and blue jeans.
