A school with over 4,400 alumni has expanded its middle school and is accepting registration for students interested in September 2011 admission.

Founded in 1960, MLS has integrated the latest educational technology, an advanced placement program, and college-preparatory education, with a 95 to 98 percent graduate rate of continued higher-education. With a diverse student body of 7 percent Asian, 15 percent African-American, 26 percent Hispanic, and 52 percent White, MLS takes pride in their school and their alumni.

Its newly expanded middle school program is committed to meeting the developmental and educational needs of its sixth through eighth graders through its English, fine arts, mathematics, foreign language, social studies, science, honors science, theology, and physical education curriculum.

The MLS will be offering its entrance exam on Saturday, March 5 at 8:30 a.m. for the fifth through ninth graders interested in attending.
