St. Stan’s girls are CYO Champs

The girls’ varsity basketball team from St. Stan’s in Ozone Park was all smiles after they defeated Our Lady of Snows, 48-38, for the CYO Diocesan Championship. It was the perfect cap to a stellar season, as St. Stan’s finished with a 14-2 record. Coach Joe Bode was proud of all of his girls, including Kristin Deer, Sabrina Bode, Yasmin Santana, Alex Ferraiuolo, Angelika Ruggiano, Kayla Nolan, Justina Yap and Krystle Rodriguez. – Steve Mosco
