83rd Precinct Pal Tops In Flag Football

At the 83rd Precinct Community Council’s Jan. 17 meeting in Bushwick, members of the precinct’s Police Athletic League flag football team were honored for being tops in Patrol Borough Brooklyn North. The team consists of (in alphabetical order) Joel Almodovar, Rafael Balardo, Andrew Brown, Drew Douglas, Jalen Douglas, Reynaldo Gonzalez, Melvin Kendall, Wayne Kendall and Brandon Nieves (Almodovar, Balardo, Brown and Wayne Kendall were not present to receive their plaques). Alsao honored were Sgt. Raymond Dankel and Officers Steve Bhagan, Kenny Dwyer, Christopher Iannotti, Melvin Kendall and Scot Pedrick, as well as Deputy Inspector Stephen Capasso (second from left), the precinct’s commander.
