ROBERT JOHN VALERIO of Middle Village died on Friday, August 10, at the age of 71. A native of Brooklyn, he was the beloved husband of Lynn, devoted father of John and Christine, fond stepfather of Dori-Ann, Lisa and Lenny and son of Carmella and John. He is also survived by seven grandchildren. A Mass of Christian Burial was offered at Our Lady of Hope Church, Middle Village, followed by interment at St. John Cemetery, Middle Village, under the direction of Village Chapels, 67-67 Eliot Ave., Middle Village. KAITLIN RAYNE WITTREICH died on Tuesday, August 7, at the age of 11. She was the beloved daughter of James and Frances Wittreich, loving sister of Felicia and John, cherished granddaughter of opa John Wittreich and dear stepdaughter of Ann. Services were offered on Monday, August 13, at Papavero Funeral Home, 72-27 Grand Ave., Maspeth, followed by cremation at Fresh Pond Crematory, Middle Village.

+++ PETER CONSALAZIO died on Monday, August 6, at the age of 97. He was the husband of the late Lucy, loving father of Anthony Consalazio and the late Michelina Miller, fatherin law of Barbara, cherished grandfather of Peter, John and Monique, great-grandfather of Dominick, Michael, Genna, Joseph, Angela and Anthony and dear brother of Anthony Consalazio and Louis Consalazio. A Mass of Christian Burial was offered on Thursday, August 9, at St. Francis de Paola Church, Williamsburg, followed by interment at All Faiths Cemetery, Middle Village, under the direction of Papavero Funeral Home, 72-27 Grand Ave., Maspeth.

+++ PERSA MUSKAN of Ridgewood died on Monday, August 6, at the age of 81. A native of Serbia, Yugoslavia, she was the wife of the late Jovan, devoted mother of Viorel, Kornel and Draglin, loving grandmother of Draglin, Michael, Gordana and Daniel and great grandmother of Adriana, Mia, Adrian, Marko and Alina. Serbian Orthodox services were offered at Peter J. Geis Funeral Home, 57-34 Catalpa Ave., Ridgewood, followed by interment at Linden Hill Cemetery, Ridgewood.

+++ ARNOLD F. WICKS died on Sunday, August 5, at the age of 73. He was the beloved husband of Ann Lorraine Wicks, loving father of Robert and Gina Wicks, Dawn Wicks and David and Lisa Wicks and cherished grandfather of Elizabeth, Christina, Robert, Cameron, Adam, Jennifer and Ethan. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews and friends. He was also a U.S. Army veteran. Services were offered on Tuesday, August 7, at Papavero Funeral Home, 72-27 Grand Ave., Maspeth, followed by interment at Maple Grove Cemetery, Kew Gardens.

A native of Poland, he was the beloved husband of Miroslawa, devoted father of Malgorzata Elias and Anna Kemosa and loving son of Antoni Nawrocki and Stefania Guzik. He was the beloved son of Jacinto and Petronila Quijano, loving brother of Manuel and Clara Quijano, Nery and Domingo Acosta, Lucy and Polo Montes, Felipe and Fabiana Quijano and Carmen and Rolando Moroto and cherished uncle of Christian, Melisa, Sergio, Christopher, Lourdes, Barbie, Annie and Andrew. A Mass of Christian Burial was offered on Friday, August 10, at St. Mary’s Church, Woodside, followed by interment at St. John Cemetery, Middle Village, under the direction of Papavero Funeral Home, 72-27 Grand Ave., Maspeth. MARC S. RIVERA died on Friday, August 10, at the age of 60. He was the beloved husband of Kim E. Corbett Rivera, loving father of Monica, cherished grandfather of Markim and Carver, dear brother of William Rivera and Yvonne Martinez, brother-in-law of Emily Rivera, Celeste and Charles Henderson Tarmira and Dedrick Muhammad and the late Nestor Martinez Sr. and beloved uncle of Nestor Jr., Yvette and Yamel. He is also survived by numerous cousins and friends. He was also a U.S. Navy veteran who served during the Vietnam War. Services were offered on Wednesday, August 15, at Papavero Funeral Home, 72- 27 Grand Ave., Maspeth, followed by interment at St. Raymond Cemetery, Bronx. GLORIA E. VAZQUEZ of Brooklyn died on Saturday, August 11, at the age of 71. A native of Arecibo, Puerto Rico, she was the beloved wife of Luis Vazquez, devoted mother of Maryvel Gonzalez, Nancy Rodriguez, Elizabeth Garcia, Maria Ramos and Sandra Vazquez and dear sister of Lydia Jimenez, Amaryllis Jimenez and Maria Deirle. She is also survived by seven grandchildren and four great-grandchildren. Services were offered at Christ Tabernacle Church, Ridgewood, by Rev. Michael Durso, followed by interment at Cypress Hills Cemetery, under the direction of Morton Funeral Home/Ridgewood Chapels, 663 Grandview Ave., Ridgewood.
