Stefani Morscher of Middle Village was crowned Miss Gottschee 2013 during the 67th annual Gottscheer Volksfest at Plattduetsche Park in Franklin Square, L.I.,earlier this month. A graduate of Archbishop Molloy High School and St. Margaret School, Morscher is entering her junior year at Molloy College in Rockville Centre, where she is pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in nursing. Morscher has been a member of Die Erste Gottscheer Tanzgruppe for the last 17 years and was part of the original kindergruppe. She is the daughter of Herbert C. and Linda (nee Mezic) Morscher, sister of Matthew Morscher, granddaughter of Dino and Erna Mezic and Herbert and Sidonia Morscher.
