One man is dead and another injured in a shooting this morning in Jamaica, cops said.
Police responded to the shooting at 89-32 163rd Street around 5:11 a.m. Upon arrival officers found one Hispanic man with a gunshot wound in his chest and another Hispanic man with a gunshot wound to an ankle.
EMS rushed both victims to Jamaica Hospital where the male with the chest wound was pronounced dead and the second victim is in stable condition, authorities said.
Cops have not arrested anyone in connection with the shooting yet and the investigation is ongoing.
