Classic cars were on display for charity in Maspeth during the East Coast Car Association’s show on Sunday, Aug. 17, at Maspeth Federal Savings bank’s main branch. Guests got the opportunity to view restored vehicles and donate blood to the New York Blood Center. Two long-time ECCA members, Bob and Carol Widdows, were honored for 15 years of volunteer service. They were presented with citations from Rep. Grace Meng, State Sen. Joseph Addabbo, Assemblyman Mike Miller and City Council Member Elizabeth Crowley. ECCA members are pictured in the right photo. Proceeds from the show benefit the ECCA’s annual Toys for Tots drive for patients at St. Mary’s Children’s Hospital in Bayside.
