Police identified a 30-year-old man who was found dead in Corona Sunday morning as Woodside resident Fabian Carreno.
Responding officers discovered Carreno’s blood-soaked body with slash wounds to his face and neck at the corner of Northern Boulevard and 97th Street at around 2:13 a.m., according to the NYPD.
He was rushed to Elmhurst Hospital where he was pronounced dead.
Police said no arrests had been made Sunday morning and the investigation into Carreno’s death was ongoing.
