A Greek restaurant is set to take over the former location of the Frank’s Bakery.
Piatsa Souvlaki Greek Grill, which will be operating out of 36-02 30th Ave, will be opening within two weeks, according to its owner.
The restaurant has posted its menu onto its website.
Its menu includes traditional Greek fare—such as souvlaki, gyros and hummus. However, it will also offer sandwiches, salads and burgers.
“We are the new take on classic Greek food,” it states on its website. “[We] bring you fresh flavors like you’ve never tasted.”
Piatsa Souvlaki’s hours of operation will be Monday through Friday from 10 am to 10 pm. On Saturdays it will be open from 10 am to 11 pm, while on Sundays its hours will be from 9 am to 10 pm.
Frank’s Bakery had been located on that corner for 50 years. It closed in May.
