Owners of Flushing Asian grocery Assi Plaza sold its building after two decades of operation in the neighborhood.

Asian food distributor Rhee Brothers, Inc, which owns the supermarket chain, sold the two-story property at 131-01 39th Ave. near College Point Boulevard for $54.6 million, according to city records filed Friday.

The nearly 100,000-square-foot Flushing supermarket, which opened in 1994, was the first of several scattered across the country.

Assi Plaza, which is located near the SkyView Center and blocks from recently developed One Fulton Square, was purchased by Outlet Plaza LLC, according to city records.

Repeated calls to Rhee Brothers were not returned.
