A teen was roughed up during an Astoria deli robbery Saturday, where the suspects took off with $30,000 in cash, cops said.
Two of the suspects entered the business, the En-Express Deli, on Main Avenue, about 3 a.m., and asked the victim, a 17-year-old employee, for help in the rear of the store, police said.
The suspects then allegedly beat up the teen and forced him into a back room of the deli while one of the suspects let two additional suspects into the store. The first suspect then acted as a lookout while the other suspects took $30,000 from a lockbox before the four of them fled, officials said.
The victim sustained minor injuries as a result of the robbery.
Police have released a photo of the first two suspects, and describe them as two men between the ages of 20 and 25.
