Developers are eyeing 37th Avenue, near the water and neighboring Ravenswood Houses, for a new nine-story, 175-room hotel.
Plans were filed Thursday with the Department of Buildings for the hotel at 12-02 37 Ave. It will stand 100 feet tall on a 10,020 square-foot plot of land, currently a fenced-up vacant lot piled with several cars and stacks of building equipment inside.
Rooms at the planned hotel will occupy all floors including a cellar. Amenities will include an exercise room, breakfast room, office and conference space, and a bar in the lobby.
Building plans also provide for 24 off-street parking spaces.
Developers declined to comment for this story when reached by phone.
