Police are looking for a man who made an unsuccessful attempt at robbing a Howard Beach bank on Friday afternoon.
According to authorities, the suspect entered the Chase Bank, located at 156-33 Cross Bay Blvd., at about 4:30 p.m. He approached a teller and demanded money, but fled empty-handed when the teller refused to comply.
Officers from the 106th Precinct responded to the scene; there were no injuries.
The suspect is described as a Hispanic male who stands at 5 foot 8 inches tall and weighs 150 pounds.
