The NYPD released images and video of the getaway car used in a robbery and shooting outside a South Ozone Park hotel Thursday night that left a 53-year-old woman critically injured.

Authorities said the victim and her 20-year-old daughter pulled up to the Hampton Inn located at 144-10 135th Ave. at about 8:30 p.m. Thursday night. The victim got out and went to the hotel lobby, leaving her daughter waiting inside their vehicle.

Moments later, police said, an unidentified suspect approached the car, jumped into the driver’s seat, displayed a firearm and demanded cash from the victim’s daughter. When she didn’t produce any money, authorities said, the bandit pistolwhipped her, causing a head laceration. He then removed four rings — one of which is silver with an elephant shape — from her possession.

Authorities said the second perpetrator approached the victim as she exited the hotel lobby and demanded cash. A struggle ensued, during which the bandit pulled out a handgun and shot the victim in the torso.

The first suspect then took the shooting victim’s handbag and fled with the shooter inside a white 2005-2010 Volkswagen Jetta.

Officers from the 113th Precinct and EMS units responded to the incident. The woman was rushed to Elmhurst Hospital in critical condition; her daughter was not seriously injured.

Police describe the first suspect as a 30-year-old black male, standing 5 foot 11 inches tall with a medium build who was last seen wearing a black ski mask, a black Columbia jacket, black pants and black sneakers. The shooter was described as a black male with braided hair.

Anyone with information regarding the shooting is asked to call Crime Stoppers at 800-577-TIPS, visit their website or send a text message to 274637 (CRIMES), then enter TIP577. All calls and messages are kept confidential.
