Detectives are searching for a group of bandits who robbed a man at gunpoint on a Flushing street Wednesday night, police reported.
The stickup occurred at 9:30 p.m. at the corner of Northern Boulevard and Murray Street.
According to police, the 33-year-old male victim was walking through the area when he was confronted by five unidentified male who displayed firearms and demanded his property. The crooks removed from him a bag containing an unknown amount of money, then fled in an unknown direction.
Officers from the 109th Precinct responded to the incident; the man was not injured.
No arrests have been made, and an investigation is ongoing, authorities said.
