Police are asking for the public’s assistance in identifying five men who recently stole merchandise and threatened an employee at a drug store in Howard Beach.
On Thursday, Oct. 27, at approximately 9:28 p.m., five unknown male individuals went into a Rite Aid pharmacy located at 160-10 Cross Bay Blvd. After they entered the store, the individuals stole a number of different pieces of merchandise valued at approximately $1,350.
As the individuals left the store, one of them told the employees not to follow him and that he had a knife.
Officers from the 106th Precinct responded to the incident. The individuals are described as males between the ages of 16 and 20 years old. They fled the scene in a white Cadillac Escalade.
