Police are investigating the death of a woman who was found in the bathtub of her Corona home early on Wednesday morning.
At 2:50 a.m. on Wednesday, April 26, police responded to a 911 call of an unconscious person inside of an apartment at 98-25 Horace Harding Expwy. near 99th Street, within the LeFrak City complex.
Upon arriving at the location, officers from the 110th Precinct found Dorah Estevez, 60, unconscious and unresponsive in a bathtub filled with water. EMS responded to the scene and pronounced Estevez dead at the location.
Her body was transported to the city’s Medical Examiner’s office for an autopsy to determine the cause of death. Police sources say that there is no initial evidence of foul play.
The investigation is ongoing.
