A teenager was seriously injured after falling through a hole inside an abandoned power station on the Ozone Park/Woodhaven border on Saturday night, it was reported.

Officers from the 102nd Precinct and EMS units responded just after 6 p.m. on June 10 to a 911 call about the incident inside the building on Atlantic Avenue near 98th Street.

According to NBC New York, it’s unclear how the youngster got into the building, or how he fell inside the structure. Paramedics rushed the 15-year-old boy to Elmhurst Hospital for treatment of his injuries, WABC-TV reported.

The power station is adjacent to the defunct Rockaway Beach branch of the Long Island Rail Road, which hasn’t seen train service since 1962. While some advocates want to restore transit service to it, others are advocating to transform the line — which has become reforested over the last five decades — into a new park.

The LIRR’s Atlantic Terminal Branch also runs below Atlantic Avenue.
