Police were searching for a missing 11-year-old girl from Far Rockaway.
It was reported to police that Vanessa Mendez was last seen July 27at about 12 p.m. leaving her residence at on Beach 43rd St.
Police described Mendez as approximately 5 feet 2 inches tall and 115 pounds with long black hair and brown eyes.
