Cops are looking for the gun-slinging suspect who opened fire on a 29-year-old man in Astoria on Tuesday afternoon, according to authorities.
On Aug. 22 at 2:42 p.m., officers from the 114th Precinct responded to the scene in the vicinity of 24th Street and 35th Avenue, in the heart of the Ravenswood Houses complex. Upon arrival, police said, they discovered the male victim, who was shot one time in the back of his upper right leg.
Paramedics rushed the man to Elmhurst Hospital in stable condition.
No description of the shooter was immediately available.
The investigation is ongoing.
