Actors Donnie Wahlberg and Marisa Ramirez — who both play NYPD detectives in the television show “Blue Bloods” — showed up at the 108th Precinct on Tuesday, Aug. 15, to meet with real-life detectives and police officers while the show was filming scenes in Long Island City.
Wahlberg — former member of the popular ’80s boy band New Kids on the Block — plays Detective Danny Reagan on the CBS crime drama, while Ramirez takes on the role of Detective Maria Baez.
The pair stopped by the precinct located at 547 50th Ave. to take photos with the officers, who quickly posted the snaps to the 108th Precinct’s Twitter account, while offering their assistance to the TV cops.
