A Jackson Heights father whose 14-year-old daughter went missing Thursday has announced that she has been found.
Mike Solis posted a photo of his daughter, Destiny Solis, early Sunday morning saying that she was back home.
“Our missing Destiny Solis has been found safe…We can’t thank all our friends and even people we didn’t know who helped us with the search since Thursday night,” Solis wrote,
Destiny went missing around 4:30 p.m. at Monika Nails & More salon at 32-10 81st St. on Thursday, according to police. Her parents told the police that Destiny had left the salon to go to their 81st Street home. She was reported missing at 6:15 p.m. Thursday.
Solis turned to Facebook for help in finding her. His post looking for her was shared 220,000 times. The photo was captioned with a call for help.
“Our family is worried about her and just want her home safely!” he wrote.
