Creepy carjacker who pulled a teen out of a vehicle in South Ozone Park is still at large

Police are looking for a carjacker who pulled a 13-year-old boy out of a running vehicle and drove away in South Ozone Park.

On Feb. 21 at 2:55 p.m., a 13-year-old boy was waiting for a family member in a running vehicle that was located in the vicinity of 127th Street and 111th Avenue. While inside the car, an unknown man approached the teen and engaged him in conversation.

The suspect then opened the driver’s side door and forcibly pulled the boy from the car. Once the victim was out of the car, the suspect got into the driver’s seat and drove away.

The victim was not injured as a result of the incident, which was reported to the 106th Precinct.

The suspect is described as a black man in his 20s who was last seen wearing a purple hoodie and tan pants.
