Creep sought for groping two young girls in less than a week on Corona streets (UPDATED)

The man who allegedly molested a 10-year-old girl in Corona last week apparently molested another young woman in the neighborhood on Tuesday morning, police reported.

Authorities said the latest creepy episode took place at around 8:20 a.m. on Oct. 9 in the area of 45th Avenue and Junction Boulevard in Corona.

According to police, the suspect approached a 13-year-old girl who was walking through the area, then inappropriately touched her. He started to walk away westbound on 45th Avenue before turning around and heading eastbound down the same street.

Law enforcement sources said the first attack occurred at 3:30 p.m. on Oct. 3 in front of a store on 104th Street near 39th Avenue.

According to authorities, the 10-year-old girl was standing on the sidewalk when she was approached by the unidentified suspect, who proceeded to fondle her over her clothing in the groin area. He then fled the location on foot in an unknown direction.

The incidents were reported to the 110th and 115th Precincts; neither victim was seriously injured.

Cops describe the deviant as a Hispanic male between 30 and 40 years of age. During the Oct. 3 attack, he last seen wearing a dark T-shirt and dark shorts. Security cameras located near the crime scene captured images of the perpetrator.

On Oct. 9, the perpetrator was observed wearing a blue shirt with white lettering on the front, camouflage shorts and black sneakers.
