Police need the public’s help in finding a suspect tied to a series of grand larcenies in the Auburndale section of Flushing.
On Oct. 12, police from the 111th Precinct posted on their Twitter account that they were looking for Queens resident Michael Taylor, 35, who allegedly broke into several cars in the vicinity of 192nd Street and Northern Boulevard.
Law enforcement sources said that Taylor reportedly broke into cars parked near local schools, day care centers and parks in the confines of the 111th Precinct.
Once inside, according to authorities, the suspect allegedly removed pocketbooks containing credit cards from the parked vehicles.

Police sources said that the suspect’s last known address is on 207th Street in Queens Village. The NYPD also posted a photo of what they believe is the suspect’s car, a silver BMW.

Cops describe Taylor as a black man standing 5 feet 9 inches tall and weighing about 165 pounds, with black hair and brown eyes. In security camera footage, he was seen wearing a black long-sleeved T-shirt, white pants, a white baseball hat and white sneakers.
