A high-end commercial building in Elmhurst that has filed for bankruptcy will go up for auction next week.

The five-story, 22,284-square-foot building, located at 54-14 74th Ave. initially filed for bankruptcy in 2017, according to court records. The auction, held by Maltz Auctions, will take place at the LaGuardia Airport Marriott Hotel, located at 02-05 Ditmars Blvd. in East Elmhurst, on Nov. 9 at 11 a.m.

The building offers rentable office space on three floors, a private heated garage with 21 spaces, a dedicated 10-ton HVAC system with separate gas meter on each floor and a cellar with two partial sub-cellars. The rooftop has an outdoor space with city views as well as a rooftop mechanical room.

The structure had sustained extensive water damage, according to Maltz Auctions, but it is not known what caused it to occur.
