A man was fatally hit by an oncoming train this morning at a Jackson Heights subway station.
According to police, at around 7:17 a.m. on Jan. 18, an unidentified man was seen jumping in front of a Jamaica-bound F train at the Jackson Heights – Roosevelt Avenue train station.
Officers from the 110th Precinct and EMS were called to the scene, and declared the victim dead upon arrival.
The incident initially caused delays for the E, F, R and M lines until around 9 a.m., however the MTA said that riders can still expect delays as a result of the incident.
