Police are asking for help finding a man who allegedly broke into two restaurants in Astoria recently and stole cash.
According to law enforcement sources, at 10:35 p.m. Dec. 16. 2018, a man identified as Jameek Seymour tried to break into 3 Greeks Grill at 35-61 Vernon Blvd. through a side window but was unsuccessful. He then fled the scene on foot.
Shortly after, at 11:10 p.m., authorities noted, Seymour broke into Flor de Azalea Cafe at 9-02 34th Ave. through an unlocked side window. Once inside, Seymour took an unknown amount of cash from the register and ran out of the front door.
Seymour was last seen wearing a hooded sweatshirt, sweatpants and sneakers and is approximately between the ages of 18 and 30, according to police.

Video footage and photos were obtained by the police after Seymour’s break in at Flor de Azala Cafe.
